I dined in, the Brussel sprouts, ox tails, and burgers were out of this world! Our server was incredibly nice too! After we finished, the owner came and spoke with us(as he seemed to be doing with everyone) he was mind and seemed like a really genuine guy. The music was also incredible. Props to you guys!

First of all, the fried chicken is delicious. In the American South, Fried Chicken is King, so welcome to the Castle. I absolutely loved the ribs. The ribs were filled with subtle smokiness, not overwhelming, but tender, fall off the bone delicious. Good job. The potato salad became a quick favorite, I love the fried green tomatoes, collards, and green beans. Peach cobbler was very good. Corn muffins are delicious, I could eat the whole basket, thank you very much. I would really love to see y'all making a chunky mashed potatoe, but that's a me thing. Overall, it is an excellent soulful infusion of southern home cooking.

Food, service, and atmosphere were awesome. We met the owner, Loyd! Restaurant is family owned and we felt like we were visiting someone's house. Everyone was down to earth. There is live music on certain days. Location is easy to find. If you are sick of those corporate restaurant franchises and need a good home cooked meal, go to Loyd Have Mercy! Get the sweet potato cake! Yum yum! We visited as a family of 11! All of us had that "itis" after eating and went straight to sleep. You will definitely be satisfied!

Hands Down the BEST Restaurant we have ever had the pleasure of eating at! Loyd Have Mercy had AMAZING customer service from the literal second we walked in the door! The owner came out and spoke to us, the waitress Ms.V was so polite and friendly to the kiddos, and the entire experience was so much much loved and appreciated! The kids got their normal food, but my husband and I tried Oxtail and Braised Short Ribs and OH MY GOD IT WAS ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS! The kids got to get gifts from the treasure box, was given suckers, and even want to go back asap! Haha! We will 110% be back again, and that’s a fact! -Oxtail on Rice, Collard Greens, Mac and Cheese, and Fried Green Tomatoes! -Citrus Braised Short Rib, mango coleslaw, homemade potato salad -Homemade Banana Pudding

Family ran restaurant that impresses with hospitality and homemade delicious food. We savored the “fancy” meatloaf and want to go back to try the fried chicken and pot roast. Mr. Loyd (Titusville native) owns the restaurant with his wife and employs several other family members to make everyone feel right at home. It’s truly a cool family environment.

Listen... try them Fried green tomatoes out while u making up your mind on what to eat! The best I’ve come across so far! We had the pleasure of having Miss Vee as our waiter! Super friendly and informative! Her warm welcome set the tone from the jump. Customer service is always important in any establishment! The owner Mr. Lyod himself walked out after we received our food to introduce himself. He’s the owner and cook! Good flavors remind me of the old days when my aunts and grandma cooked. They always had flavors I just couldn’t find in the stores ! He was very polite and wanted to make sure everything was going good! I had the fall off the bone, tender, and very flavorful oxtails, potatoe salad, carrot casserole, fried green tomatoes, and Mac and cheese! Everything and I mean everything was cooked soul food style and delicious! Definitely a MUST TRY!

Our family came here for lunch after visiting the Kennedy Space Center. All the food is super delicious and the sides always surprised us in a good way, for instance, sweet & sour Brussels sprouts, mashed gravy, collard beans. Meanwhile, the waiter and waitress are super friendly to us. Our waitress Mary taped the cap so the kids’ drink won’t spill out, set up our table in the way that we can share the foods together. Very thoughtful. We had a great dining experience.

My dad requested fried chicken livers for his 73rd birthday and Loyd Have Mercy did not disappoint! There were 6 of us and we had chicken livers and fried green tomatoes for apps and the smothered pork chops (my sister and I got them different ways), fried fish, and fried chicken for entrees. When I say EVERYTHING WAS AMAZING I am not exaggerating. Loyd greeted us when we came in, cooked our amazing meal, and checked on us several times in addition to our incredible server Dee. She was on top of everything and our drinks were never empty. We had everything we needed before we needed it! Oh, and did I mention the food?! Black eyed peas, mashed potatoes, pimento cheese grits, collards...not one thing that wasn’t seasoned to perfection and cooked exactly right. Clean restrooms and dining area! We live 45 mins away and WILL be back!
